Description
Canadian rock band April Wine released their self-titled debut album in September 1971. Combining blues-y grit with soaring vocals, lead single "Fast Train" peaked at #38 on the Canadian RPM 100 Singles Chart. The album launched the band's long and successful career, as they opened for bands such as The Rolling Stones, Rush, and Nazareth, and scored numerous platinum and gold-selling records in Canada and the US.
